Dr Arun K. Sharma has more than 8 years of experience in Advance Laparoscopy & Gastrointestinal Surgery. After doing MBBS from Jammu, he did his Master's degree (MS) from SKIMS, Kashmir. He then joined the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and did M.Ch in Minimal Access Surgery followed by Fellowship in Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery while spending more than 6 years at AIIMS,  New Delhi. 

Other than routine General surgeries like Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, Appendectomy and surgeries for Hemorrhoids, Perianal Fistula and Pilonidal Sinus, he is well trained in performing advanced laparoendoscopic surgeries like Endoscopic Thyroid Surgery (Scarless Neck Surgery), Laparoscopic Hernia Repair (IPOM, TEP, TAPP, eTEP), Fundoplication, Hiatus Hernia Repair, Complex Hepatobiliary, Gastro Intestinal Onco Surgery, Breast and Thyroid Oncosurgery. 

He is a trained Metabolic & Bariatric Surgeon from AIIMS, New Delhi and has expertise in several Bariatric procedures like Sleeve Gastrectomy, Intra Gastric Balloon, Gastric Bypass, Sleeve Plus & Revision Bariatric Surgery. During his time in AIIMS Delhi, he was an active member of Renal Transplant team for around 5 years and is a certified Renal Transplant Surgeon.
